TW is allowed to do anything he pleases, as we are allowed to have an opinion.  To be honest, I think he's being a crybaby.  Anyone making millions for swinging a club realy should stop complaining.  It's thrilling; he's thrilling; but when it gets down to it, if he stopped tommorrow, life would proceed as usual.  Unlike had Jonas Salk not invented the polio vaccine or had Alex Flemming not discovered penicillan.  Those discoveries and men changed the world.

Tiger shouldn't have to explain his actions after something like that happens.  The situation is intense and he is extremely competitive.  I would have reacted the same way.  This shouldnt even be a story.

Of course you aren't sure.  It happens all the time, it happens to people other than Tiger.  Stop blaming the media for taking pictures, it's not the reason you made bogey.  Has he made bogey on every single hole a picture was taken in his back swing?  No.  He hit a bad shot, deal with it.

Also is it just me or has over the years Tiger developed the opposite reputation to what you seem to be suggesting, I remember a year or so ago and he was playing when he was ill and everyone was saying Tiger never makes excuses and will always go and there and give it his best.

So if it was Thursday you'd have a problem with him blaming the media?  He's allowed to complain, I don't like it.  It's not the camera's fault, guys hit bad shots, it happens, just own it.  As for never making excuses, I never said that.  He does, he did on Sunday, he did in Dubai (an he won there).  His camera issue isn't new either, it's ridiculous.  Especially, as originally stated, since he used to have his father try and disrupt his concentration and I've read and heard that story 100 times in different places.

look, i really like the guy, but that doesn't mean i have to condone or even accept all of his antics.

But do his "Antics" actually bother you people? Thats the part being taken out of context, its a 2 second rant and a couple bad words because somebody snapped a photo in his downswing.  Keep in mind how competitive this sport is. Seems as if you are looking for something to dislike him for. Id be kinda pissed if somebodys phone rang in my backswing if i was just playing at my club.  Call me crazy but im a bit competitive to. Oh yea, and in reply to whoever said he should stop complaining because he makes millions swinging a club??  I absoloutly agree. I play golf at the weekends and i hate it when i get an interuption in my swing. Okay i'm not professional and i'm no where, and i mean no where near as fantastic as Tiger but i would have done the same thing. I'm sure a lot of people would in that situation. Golf is a hugely competitive game for anybody and anybody snapping pictures of you can frustrate you to the bone.

there are plenty tournaments that would never be able to afford his appearance fee.

He cant play them all, so he plays the ones that pay, fine, wouldn't you?.  My immediate point was that he plays the game for the challenge and the opportunity to win every time he does tee it up.  Thats why he gets mad when people snap photos in the downswing.  He wants to be able to have as much control of the elements as he can. Minus snapping photographers.

   - I really don't see any problem with the swearing, nor would I have a problem with any other player going off on the occasional cursing rant.  I believe it is apart of the game; developing anger, channeling anger, and using it the right way.  Unfortunatly this had to come about because a photographer snapped one in his backswing.  If your a photographer and your far enough away, have at it but if you even think that you might interfere with his concentration just don't do it.  I think we all remember the snapshot took in the backswing of his tee shot at the 72nd hole at augusta in 97', he sniped one into a practice fairway, now imagine if he wasn't able to get up and down for that record because of a PHOTOGRAPHER, I mean seriously your talking about wrecking a historical achievement.  I say lets have the photographers be a little more attentive on where they are at and what the stakes are in a golf tournament.

i think if tiger was doing it for the money, he would've quit by now. his career will be defined by wins and major wins, not how much money he made. 

He does what he does for the "W", that doesn't mean he isn't interested in the $$, he's not stupid....if somebody, anybody, some corp wants to pay him 3 mill to SHOW UP and golf in Dubai or Bumf**kville...what idiot would say, "NO THANK?"

  He shows up and kicks everybody's ass. I could think of a lot worst ways to spend a few days......Bob
