    Tiger's ESPN Sunday Conversation

    http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?videoId=3331650&categoryId=2378529

I've seen bits and pieces of this on Sports Center but not the entire video!   It is really interesting - new tidbits (to me, anyway) about meeting Stevie and eventually hiring him, personal stuff about Sam, and Tiger's outlook on his game and future.   It's a good interview!

Proud to be a Tiger Fan!

Happy Holidays and a wonderful 2009 from Lexy & her proud grandma!

Wow, what a fantastic interview. Thanks DK, I most likely wouldn't have opened up the web site myself. People who say that Tiger isn't open at interviews,( something I have never really agreed with) should really watch that. I am continually impressed by Tiger. He is such an unique person. Loved it at the end when he wouldn't accept choosing between 17 majors and 100 wins. Big Smile So entirely his character, never ever give in!!!

    thanks for the post donnakay.

during the q&a, kobe or lebron, i had the exact same answer, for the exact same reason. kinda surreal because i thought it before he said it.

i liked the story about sam watching tv. it got me a little too.

tiger describing augusta makes me want to be there. i sent away for an app for next year's practice round, hopefully one of these years i'll get the chance.

Yeah I agree, great interview by Scott.  You can tell Tiger respects him and was comfortable in that interview and had a chance to talk openly.

This is a great interview. Thanks Donnakay for sharing. Lots of insight into Tiger's thinking. I like how he says that he can win 4 majors. A comment that a golf writer tried to throw back in Tiger's face.

That particular writer was Alistair Tait of Golf Weekly, who wrote with seemingly overzealous vengeance an article, titled "Slammed Shut," regarding the end of any chance of Tiger winning a Grand Slam.

Tait smugly wrote, "As for Grand Slam talk, let’s hear no more of that. The gods of golf don’t take kindly to those seeking immortality."

Tiger was just thinking out loud what he thinks to himself. I read a quote of Tiger somewhere saying that you have to think you can win before you can do it. Tiger wasn't being arrogant. He was being confident. A confidence that won't be deterred by an oftputting golf writer.

Great interview....thank you for posting it!

    Things I liked:

    1) The responsibility of parenthood he has accepted.

    2) Winning attitude, without arrogance.

    3) Humility when compared with the greatest athletes of all time.

    4) Fielding some really good questions with some really good answers.

    5) Being down to earth, yet at the same time being absolute class.
