Hi All
My 7 year old is a wonderful golfer and he gave me the idea for a project. He didn't know what to do with his older clubs that he'd outgrown in just one year. So, he thought about giving them to other kids who can't afford them. So, we're started "Fore Kids". We want to collect used kids golf clubs and also money to buy new equipment. We'll pass along these to kids of military members who cannot afford clubs. We also want to get all courses to provide free rounds of 9-holes for military children ages 12 and under. I'm currently in a wonderful program with Landmark Education and this is my project for the course. I'm so excited that I'm trying to get the word out to everyone. We hope this takes off and we can expand to ALL children ages 12 and under. We'd also like ot provide entry fee to the US Kids Golf World Qualifying tournaments and maybe fully fund one kids trip to the World Championship in Pinehurst, NC. What an amazing gift! I'm mostly, excited because my 7 year old came up with the idea. We're in the process of setting up a special bank account for all donations and a location for equipment donations to be mailed. I hope you open your heart up for these kids. These kids do without their parents while they serve in our military and many don't ever come home. Giving these kids the possibility of full self expression and happiness is so amazing to me. Validation of this project can be confirmed by calling the Landmark Education Offie in Alexandria, Virginia. My course name is Self-Expression and Leadership. Instructor is Jennifer. Thanks!!
