It shocked me to hear from the world's number one golfer, a statement that is blatantly ignorant of the progress made by the NHL in getting ice hockey growing in the US.  Tiger is quoted as saying...."I don't think anybody really watches hockey any more."  Given that a large percentage of hockey players are themselves golfers, I'm sure that the hockey/golf fraternity will be somewhat dismayed by his perspective.

Maybe Tiger was misquoted, and if so, it would be nice to hear a remark indicating so, but I, for one, have lost some respect from a man how normally choses his words carefully!
