Gatorade Tiger Challenges Fans to
Focus on Their Game to Win an “Out of This World” Vacation Experience Worth up
to $125,000
NASCAR
Champion Jimmie Johnson and ESPN personality Trey Wingo to participate in competition
to benefit Tiger Woods Foundation
WHAT: The
Gatorade Tiger™ Moonshot Challenge
Taking a cue from the Gatorade Tiger “Moonshot” ad campaign
featuring Tiger Woods hitting a golf ball from the moon, Gatorade Tiger is
offering New York City
residents the chance to demonstrate their long-drive skills in a golf simulator
designed to look like the moon. The man
and woman with the longest drives in the simulator between 10:00AM and 5:00PM on June 11 in Times Square
will join long-drive winners from previous Moonshot events across the country
in the Moonshot Challenge Grand Prize Event from 6:00PM to 7:00PM
that same day. The male and female
champions of the Grand Prize Event will be able to create their own “out of
this world” vacation experience worth up to $125,000.
Two-time defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie
Johnson and ESPN personality Trey Wingo will make an appearance and set the
stage by hitting a drive in the simulator to kickoff the Grand Prize Event. Both will be on site from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
On behalf of fans who participate in the Moonshot Challenge
events, Gatorade Tiger will donate $100,000 to the Tiger Woods Foundation to
benefit kids. Fans can get more information about the event
and enter an Online Sweepstakes at www.gatoradetiger.com.
