I'm torn.
My putter isn't anything fancy, but I would guess that since I bought it 5 years ago I average a good 6 stokes better on a round. The old putter was a brass head that turned out to be a bit heavy, even on the shaggy greens I play on in Alaska. The Wilson Harmonizer I have now is the first mallet head putter I've ever tried, and I'm doing well with it.
However... I finally got rid of my 1999 model Big Bertha 7 deg driver. What I got was the new Ping G10 (9 deg) with an extra stiff shaft. (My swing speed is in the 110-120mph range.) It is by far the most forgiving driver I have ever hit. I went from hitting one fairway a round to hitting more like 40 to 50 percent. Not bad for a 19 handicapper. I swing easy and it goes 290-305 yards fairly consistantly. Best $300 I've ever spent, second place goes to my irons, custom built by a local Golfsmith dealer for $250.
