    Greatest shoot u ever made

What is the greatest shoot you ever made . give us all the details

Mine was Eagle 2 on a 430 yd par 4 My drive was about 270 yds
I was left with a 160 yd approach shot. Back pin loacation green sloping
down couldnt even see the bottom of the pin. I hit a soft 7 iron and hit the
top of the slope and the ball rolled down straight in the cup. :P

i haven't been playing very long, so mine isn't nearly as cool...

this happened the 2nd time i played a full 18 hole course.

    155 yard par 3
from the front of the tee box, to the front of the green was all water, and there was a cinder block wall infront of the green. anything short would put you in the water.

i took a 5 iron, to ensure it wouldn't be short. i over shot the green and landed about a foot off the top of the green. the green sloped down towards the water. i decided to put from off the green, because a chip would've easily rolled into the water with the amount of slope.

with the break, the ball traveled somewhere around 30-35 feet, hit off the flag stick and went right in the hole for my first birdie.

my buddies were all jumping around and yelling. it was a pretty cool experience, and the whole reason i keep coming back...

    that one great shot...

EDIT: to help visualize, i added a satellite image of the hole. the green 'X' marks where my tee shot landed, and the red 'X' marks where the pin was that day.

The greatest shot I have ever made was a 60 foot putt for an eagle in a local club championship and I made the putt and won the championship.

I have a knack for either hitting it pin high, so my greatest shot I ever made was when I was playing Fourball against my grandparents, and my uncle being my partner. It was Par 5 and we about 10 yards from the cup, alittle uphill right to left. So I just picked up my LW and chipped it. My Uncle turned around just in time to see it drop in the pin and me jumping and hollaring around the green.

i hit a bad second shot on a par 4 so i had about 30 yards onto the green. i hit a high flying chip that rolls and i see it disappear. i go up and it is in the hole. exciting experience for me!

Mine has to be a straight par 4 measuring 264 metres, about almost a year after i first took up golf. I hit this unbelievably straight high flying drive and the ball ended up about a foot exactly behind the hole. i could see the ball mark being few feets away in a very straight line to the position of my ball. I didnt know how it didnt go in but it was the very best shot of my life. Right then I thought I had talent until now that I have never made any other eagles except that very one.... lol

my greatest shot ever was a bunker shot onto a green what was slooping away from me, i hit the bunker almost 90 degrees to the pin it barely got out of the bunker took one bounce and rolled to the edge of the fringe, stopped for a second, than rolled 15 feet down to the pin for birdie on a 180 yard par3.

It would my tee shot on a birdie I ha on the Par 3 17th. The hole is 148, but was playing about 146. I remember everything vividly, it's weird. I hit third out of the four guys we were with, a strong 8. The green humps in the middle and slopes drastically off the middle mound. The pin was on top of this mound and the group ahead was waiting at the back watching us because it was a slow day. I hit the ball and it had a slight draw (which was weird because I don't draw it), but as soon as I hit it I knew it was good. I don't know if you guys get the "hole-in-one" feeling ever, but I had it. my knees went weak as it was about half way there and Jay said "be the right stick". Somehow I knew it was. It landed softly on the front edge of the green hopped twice and dropped out of sight. I was feeling excited, nervous, weak, anxious all at once. After Greg hit, we walked up to the hole and an older man was standing on the edge of the green watching us. As we reached view of my ball he came onto the green and said "Who hit that?", to which I replied by raising my hand (funny, I didn't feel disappointment that I could see it). The man said "Helluva shot kid. You almost holed it." I replied "Thanks, sometimes I get lucky." The man said "Yeah, bad luck... You ran right on the edge of the hole and curled in behind it." then he showed how close with his fingers. It's funny, those are the only two shots I remember from that day, but it's like they were yesterday. Now, I can barely hit the green!

After coming that close I realized what it took to ht a hole-in-one and that this shot ws probably the closest I will ever come. I've never hit a better 8-Iron than that one and it came that close. So much has to go right, and man I can't imagine what it feels like to hole out in one.

i needed eagle to win a little competition with my friends. I hit a long draw off the tee. I then hit a 3wood to the green, it landed a foot away. the green sloped downhill but i thought my ball had definitely stopped. i was watching my friend hitting a bunker shot and then turned around to find that my ball wasn't there. It was in the hole for an albatross or double eagle.

I usually just practice in my backyard because my dad barley has time to take me to a course. But on one of my few times at a course, I have hit some pretty great shots. This shot led to my first birdie on a non par 3 course. Okay so I get up on hole 2, a short 350 yard par 4. I took my driver and hit it perfectly strait down the fairway 230 yards. But the great shot was my next one. I had about 120 yards to the hole, level ground, no wind. I pull out my seven iron and aim at the flagstick and hit my shot. It went perfectly straight right at the pin landed and trickled up to within 6 inches, and I tapped in for birdie.
